[Ingredients]
This product is a compound preparation. Each package contains 200 mg of bismuth aluminate, 400 mg of heavy magnesium carbonate, 200 mg of sodium bicarbonate, 300 mg of licorice extract powder, 25 mg of Cascara sagrada bark, and 10 mg of fennel powder.
[Appearance]
Light brown or tan granules.
[Indications]
This product is an antacid and astringent. It is suitable for gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, chronic superficial gastritis, hyperacidity, and duodenitis.
[Dosage and Administration]
Oral: 1-2 sachets three times daily, swallowed after meals. Treatment course: 1-2 months.
[Adverse Reactions]
Adverse reactions are rare. Occasionally, they may include constipation, loose stools, dry mouth, insomnia, nausea, and diarrhea, which resolve spontaneously after discontinuation of the drug. Black stools are normal during treatment; if loose stools occur, the dosage can be reduced.
[Contraindications]
1. Contraindicated in patients with allergies to this product. 2. Contraindicated in pregnant women. 3. Contraindicated in patients with renal insufficiency.
[Precautions]
1. Continue taking this medication without interruption. Symptoms may improve or disappear approximately ten days after taking this medication. This only indicates improvement, not complete recovery. Continue using the medication according to the above directions and dosage until you complete a full course of treatment. After recovery, to prevent relapse, the dosage can be reduced to 1-2 tablets per day, taken after meals. 2. While taking this product, there are generally no dietary restrictions. However, those with severe stomach problems should avoid alcohol and avoid fried, greasy foods.

[Pharmacological Actions]
Bismuth aluminate forms a protective film on the gastric and duodenal mucosa. Sodium bicarbonate and heavy magnesium carbonate both have significant antacid effects. Combined with licorice extract, Cascara sagrada bark, and fennel, this formula can regulate excessive gastric acid, flatulence, and relieve constipation. It strengthens the gastric and duodenal mucosal barrier, promotes mucosal regeneration, and promotes ulcer healing. Animal studies have shown that this product significantly reduces the incidence of experimental gastritis in rats and has a significant preventive and therapeutic effect on stress-induced and pyloric ligation ulcers in rats. It also neutralizes gastric acid but has no significant effect on regulating gastric juice.
