[Ingredients]
The main ingredient of this product is: Bambuterol Hydrochloride. Its chemical name is: 1-[Bis-(3,5-N,N-dimethylcarbamoyloxy)phenyl]-2-N-tert-butylaminoethanol hydrochloride.
[Properties]
This product is a white or off-white tablet.
[Indications]
For bronchial asthma, chronic asthmatic bronchitis, obstructive pulmonary emphysema, and other lung diseases associated with bronchospasm.
[Dosage and Administration]
Take it orally once nightly before bed. The initial dose for adults is 10 mg. Depending on clinical response, it can be increased to 20 mg after 1-2 weeks of treatment. For patients with renal insufficiency (GFR 50 ml/min), the recommended initial dose is 5.0 mg.
[Adverse Reactions]
This drug may experience tremors, headaches, myotonic muscle spasms, and palpitations, but these are milder than other similar drugs. Their intensity is positively correlated with dose, and most side effects resolve spontaneously within the first one to two weeks of treatment. A very small number of patients may experience mild elevations in transaminases, dry mouth, dizziness, and stomach discomfort.
[Contraindications]
This drug should not be used in patients with allergies to terbutaline, sympathomimetic amines, or other sympathomimetic amines.
[Precautions]
1. Use with caution in patients with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, or hyperthyroidism. Patients with diabetic asthma should strengthen blood sugar control when using this drug. 2. This drug is not suitable for patients with cirrhosis or certain liver dysfunctions. 3. The initial dose should be reduced in patients with renal insufficiency.

[Drug Interactions]
1. Combination with other sympathomimetic amines may enhance the effect and increase toxicity. 2. Concomitant use with adrenergic receptor blockers (such as propranolol) is not recommended.

This product is converted to terbutaline in the body, an adrenaline-β2 receptor agonist that relaxes bronchial smooth muscle and achieves an antiasthmatic effect.
