[Pharmacological Actions]
This product's cerebrolysate is a peptide neurotrophic drug specific to the brain. It acts on the central nervous system in various ways, regulating and improving neuronal metabolism, promoting synaptic formation, inducing neuronal differentiation, and further protecting nerve cells from various ischemic and neurotoxin damage. It can cross the blood-brain barrier, promote brain protein synthesis, influence the respiratory chain, protect against hypoxia, improve brain energy metabolism, activate adenylate cyclase, and catalyze other hormone systems, providing neurotransmitters, peptide hormones, and coenzyme precursors. Piracetam is a cyclized derivative of γ-aminopyrrolidone. It can counteract physical and chemical damage to brain function and improve retrograde amnesia caused by hypoxia. It can promote the conversion of ADP into ATP in the brain, improving the brain's metabolic energy supply, promoting acetylcholine synthesis, enhancing the transmission of neural excitation, and increasing dopamine release. Chondroitin sulfate can remove lipids and lipoproteins from the blood, remove cholesterol from blood vessels, prevent and treat atherosclerosis, and enhance the conversion of lipids and fatty acids within cells. It can increase the biosynthesis of messenger RNA (mRNA) and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) in cells and promote cellular metabolism. Glutamate participates in brain protein and glucose metabolism, promotes oxidation, and improves central nervous system function. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant, combining with dietary selenium to protect polyunsaturated fatty acids in membranes and other cell structures from free radical damage, protecting red blood cells from hemolysis and nerves and muscles from oxygen free radical damage, thereby maintaining normal nerve and muscle development and function. Other vitamins are essential low-molecular organic compounds for maintaining normal human metabolism and general health.
