[Ingredients]
This product is a biologically active polypeptide extracted from bovine thymus with a molecular weight of less than 10,000 Daltons.
[Properties]
This product is an enteric-coated capsule containing off-white powder or granules.
[Indications]
Indicated for: 1. For patients with chronic hepatitis B aged 18 years and over, who experience thymus atrophy and decreased cellular immunity after age 18; 2. For various primary or secondary T-cell deficiency diseases; 3. For certain autoimmune diseases (such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus); 4. For various diseases with impaired cellular immunity; 5. For adjunctive treatment of tumors.
[Dosage and Administration]
Oral administration: 2-5 tablets three times a day, or as directed by a physician.
[Adverse Reactions]
1. Well tolerated. Some patients may experience adverse reactions such as nausea, fever, dizziness, chest tightness, and weakness. A few patients may experience occasional drowsiness. 2. Patients with chronic hepatitis B may experience a transient increase in ALT levels when using this drug. If there are no signs of liver failure, this drug can continue to be used.
[Contraindications]
This drug is contraindicated in patients with allergic reactions to it or those who have undergone organ transplantation.
[Precautions]
1. This drug exerts its therapeutic effect by enhancing the patient's immune function. Therefore, it should not be used in patients receiving immunosuppressive therapy (such as organ transplant recipients) unless the benefits clearly outweigh the risks. 2. Liver function tests should be performed regularly during treatment. 3. Use with caution in patients under 18 years of age.

Precautions for Pregnancy and Lactation
Animal reproductive studies have shown no difference in embryonic abnormalities between the control and treatment groups. It is currently unknown whether this drug is harmful to the embryo or affects fertility. Therefore, this drug should only be used in pregnant women when absolutely necessary. Although this product has not been confirmed to be excreted in human milk, it should be used with extreme caution in lactating women.

[Drug Interactions]
1. This product has been used in combination with many commonly used medications, including interferons, anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics, hormones, analgesics, antihypertensives, diuretics, cardiovascular medications, central nervous system medications, and contraceptives, without any interference. 2. This product has a synergistic effect with interferon in improving immune function.
[Pharmacological Actions]
This product is an immunomodulatory drug. It regulates and enhances human cellular immune function. It promotes the maturation of T lymphocytes in peripheral blood after mitogen activation, increases the secretion of various lymphokines (such as alpha- and gamma-interferons, interleukin-2, and interleukin-3) by T cells in response to various antigens or mitogens, and increases the levels of lymphokine receptors on T cells. It also enhances lymphocyte responses by activating T4 helper cells. In addition, this product may affect the chemotaxis of NK precursor cells, which become more cytotoxic after exposure to interferon. Therefore, this product has the potential to modulate and enhance human cellular immunity.
