【Ingredients】Curcuma oil, borneol.
【Properties】This product is milky white, creamy yellow or brownish yellow bullet-shaped.
【Functions and indications】It promotes qi circulation and resolves blood stasis, promotes tissue regeneration and relieves pain. It is used for leucorrhea caused by damp-heat stagnation, with symptoms of heavy leucorrhea, yellow color, and occasional genital itching; candidal vaginitis, senile vaginitis, and cervical erosion with the above symptoms.

【Usage and Dosage】Wash the vulva and insert the suppository deep into the vagina; or use under the guidance of a doctor, one pill per night.
1. Wash your hands and vulva, tear off the aluminum foil, and take out the suppository.
2. Sit astride, with one foot on the ground and the other foot on a small stool, put on the fingertip of the right middle finger, and push the tip of the suppository inward into the deep vagina, at least one middle finger deep.
3. Discard the fingertip and place the sanitary napkin (paper) on it.
4. One course of treatment is 7 to 8 days. For severe cases, use 2 capsules per day.
[Adverse Reactions]
1. Temporary fever or chills or shivering after medication is rare. This phenomenon usually occurs in elderly women or those with low estrogen levels. It can disappear on its own after reducing the dosage or stopping the medication.
2. Burning sensation, pain, itching, redness, swelling, rash, allergy, etc. at the medication site are rare. This can be gradually relieved until it disappears after stopping the medication. People with allergic constitution should use it with caution.
[Contraindications] Pregnant women are prohibited from using it.
【Precautions】
1. If the suppository becomes soft due to hot weather, do not squeeze it. You can put the medicine in the refrigerator or cold water for 5 to 10 minutes before using it. The appearance change does not affect the efficacy.
2. It can also be used by pregnant patients.
3. Fungal vaginitis: The patient's vagina is itchy and burning, and in severe cases it is very itchy, restless, with a lot of leucorrhea, watery or bean dregs-like. The symptoms of pregnant patients are more severe, and newborns may be infected. This medicine can quickly stop itching, and generally the fungus will turn negative after five medications. Fungal vaginitis is prone to recurrence and must be treated for a full course of treatment: after the symptoms disappear completely, consolidate the treatment for 2 to 3 courses, and the medicine can also be applied during menstruation. If there is anal itching, oral medication should be used at the same time, or if the spouse is infected, the couple should be treated at the same time.
4. Senile vaginitis: The incidence rate is 30-50% in menopausal and postmenopausal women. This disease can also occur in young women whose estrogen levels are reduced due to oophorectomy or other reasons. Patients experience vaginal itching, burning, and a sense of falling, increased vaginal discharge, watery or purulent with a foul odor, vaginal dryness, difficulty in sexual intercourse, pain during sexual intercourse, punctate and flake bleeding spots, etc., and frequent urination, urgency, and pain in urination. 5. Cervical erosion: The incidence rate in women of childbearing age is 23-49%, and the canceration rate is 2.5%, which is 7 times higher than that of non-cervical erosion. In recent years, domestic and foreign expert studies have confirmed that HPV infection is the main cause of cervical cancer, and the route of infection is sexual transmission. 99.8% of cervical cancers are infected with high-risk HPV, and the infection rate of high-risk HPV in women of childbearing age is as high as 27.5. The relative risk of cervical cancer caused by continuous HPV infection increases by 250 times! Pharmacology: The main ingredients of this product are zedoary oil (containing more than 20 chemical components) and borneol, etc. Modern pharmacological research has the following effects:
I. Broad-spectrum anti-pathogenic microorganisms and anti-inflammatory effects:
1. Antifungal effect: It has a strong inhibitory effect on the growth and reproduction of Candida albicans and Candida glabrata; it has antibacterial and inflammatory recovery effects on guinea pig vaginitis infected with Candida albicans.
2. Antiviral effect: This product has a direct inactivation effect on syncytial virus, influenza virus A1 and A3 types and parainfluenza virus type I, and has an inhibitory effect on HPV, Japanese encephalitis virus, and type III adenovirus.
3. Long-term toxicity tests show that long-term use of Baofukang suppositories in rats has no abnormal changes in pathological histological examinations of organs such as heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, adrenal glands, thymus, stomach, intestines, and bladder; acute toxicity tests show that no animal deaths and other acute toxic reactions were observed.
Skin allergy tests show that no allergic reactions were observed on guinea pig skin. Baofukang suppositories have an inhibitory effect on itching caused by histamine; vaginal irritation tests show that single and multiple administrations of Baofukang suppositories are non-irritating to the vaginal mucosa of rats.
The reproductive function test showed that there was no change in the pregnancy rate, litter size, and live fetal weight of female rats, indicating that Baofukang suppositories had no effect on the reproductive function of rats.
