[Pharmacological Actions]
This product has similar effects to ephedrine, but primarily stimulates beta-receptors, with minimal effect on alpha-receptors. It significantly relaxes bronchial smooth muscle and has a stronger antiasthmatic effect than ephedrine, while having lesser effects on the cardiovascular and central nervous systems. It also has mild antihistamine, sedative, and cough suppressant properties.
