[Properties]
This product is a film-coated tablet, which is white or off-white after removing the coating.
[Indications]
This product is suitable for the treatment of symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH): 1. Improve symptoms. 2. Reduce the risk of acute urinary retention. 3. Reduce the risk of transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) and prostatectomy.
[Usage and Dosage]
Oral. Recommended dose: 1 mg (1 tablet) each time, once a day, with or without food. Generally, the effect of increased hair growth, increased hair count and/or prevention of continued hair loss can be observed after continuous use of the drug for three months or more. It is recommended to continue taking the drug to achieve the maximum effect. The effect can be reversed within 12 months after stopping the drug.

Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: This product is not suitable for women. This product is contraindicated for pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, because type II 5a-reductase inhibitors convert testosterone to dihydrotestosterone in certain tissues, so this type of inhibitor (including finasteride) can cause malformation of the external genitalia of male fetuses if used in pregnant women. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should not touch broken finasteride tablets. Because the drug may be absorbed and then cause harm to the male fetus. The complete tablet has an outer coating to prevent contact with the active ingredients of the drug during normal operation.
Breastfeeding women: It is not clear whether finasteride is secreted in human breast milk.
Elderly precautions: Elderly patients do not need to adjust the dosage.
