[Properties]
This product is enteric-coated and appears white after the coating is removed.
[Indications]
For acute, chronic, and habitual constipation.
[Dosage and Administration]
Oral. Adults: 1-2 tablets once daily. Swallow the tablet whole.
[Adverse Reactions]
1. May occasionally cause significant abdominal cramping, which disappears upon discontinuation of the drug. 2. Rectal administration may sometimes be irritating. 3. Reports indicate excessive diarrhea.
[Contraindications]
1. This product is contraindicated in patients with allergies. 2. This product is contraindicated in patients with suspected appendicitis, gastroenteritis, rectal bleeding, or acute abdominal pain with intestinal obstruction.
