[Drug Name]
Generic Name: Enteric-Coated Aspirin Tablets
Trade Name: Abicon Enteric-Coated Aspirin Tablets 100mg x 30 Tablets

[Main Ingredient]
Aspirin.

[Properties]
This product is an enteric-coated tablet that appears white after removal of the coating.

[Indications/Main Functions]
This product is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is clinically indicated for the following conditions. 1. Analgesia and Antipyretic: It can relieve mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, toothaches, neuralgia, muscle pain, and menstrual pain. It is also used to reduce fever in colds and flu. This product only relieves symptoms and does not treat the underlying cause of pain and fever. Therefore, other medications must be used to treat the underlying cause. 2. Anti-inflammatory and Anti-rheumatic: It is commonly used to treat rheumatic fever. It can reduce fever, improve joint symptoms, and lower erythrocyte sedimentation rate. However, it cannot eliminate the underlying pathological changes of rheumatic fever, nor can it treat or prevent heart damage or other complications. 3. Arthritis: In addition to rheumatoid arthritis, this product is also used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, improving symptoms, but the underlying cause must be treated concurrently. It is also used to relieve symptoms of musculoskeletal pain in osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, juvenile arthritis, and other non-rheumatic inflammatory conditions. However, its use in these conditions has been limited in recent years. 4. Antithrombotic: This product inhibits platelet aggregation, preventing thrombosis. It is clinically used to prevent thrombosis following transient ischemic attack, myocardial infarction, atrial fibrillation, prosthetic heart valves, arteriovenous fistula, or other surgical procedures. It is also used to treat unstable angina. 5. Pediatric treatment of mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome (Kawasaki disease).

[Dosage and Administration]
1. Adult usual oral dose. ① For antipyretic and analgesic use, take 0.3-0.6g three times daily, or every four hours if necessary. For anti-rheumatic use, take 3-6g daily, divided into four doses. ③ To inhibit platelet aggregation, a low dose should be used, such as 80g to 300mg once daily. For the treatment of biliary ascariasis, 1g is used 2 to 3 times daily for 2 to 3 days; discontinue use 24 hours after the paroxysmal colic stops, and then proceed with deworming treatment. 2. Commonly used oral medications in children: ① For antipyretics and analgesia, take 1.5g/m2 of body surface area daily, divided into 4 to 6 doses, or 5 to 10mg/kg of body weight per dose, or 60mg per year per dose, every 4 to 6 hours if necessary. For rheumatism, take 80 to 100mg/kg of body weight daily, divided into 3 to 4 doses. If no effect is seen within 1 to 2 weeks, the dosage can be adjusted based on blood concentrations. In some cases, the dosage may need to be increased to 130mg/kg of water per day. For children with mucocutaneous lymphadenopathy (Kawasaki disease), the initial dose is 80-100 mg/kg daily, divided into 3-4 doses. After 2-3 days of fever subsidence, increase to 30 mg/kg daily, divided into 3-4 doses, for 2 months or longer. During periods of thrombocytosis and hypercoagulability, 5-10 mg/kg daily, taken once.
