[Indications]
In October 2008, the FDA approved Watson's Silodosin Capsules (silodosin, Rapaflo) for improving symptoms caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (also known as prostatic hypertrophy, BHP). The incidence of BHP in 50-year-old men is 50%, and the incidence in 80-year-old men increases to 75%. This product works by blocking α1 receptors in the prostate, bladder, and ureters, relaxing the smooth muscles in these tissues, and alleviating BHP-related symptoms.
[Usage and Dosage]
Adults take 4 mg each time, twice a day, orally after breakfast and dinner. The dose can be reduced as appropriate according to symptoms.

[Contraindications]
1. It is contraindicated in patients with poisoning and renal impairment. 2. Patients taking strong cytochrome P450, 3A4 (CYP3A4) inhibitors (such as ketoconazole, clarithromycin, itraconazole, Rioconazole) are prohibited from using this product. 3. Patients with a history of allergy to the ingredients of this product are prohibited from using this product.
