[Ingredients]
Lansoprazole.

[Properties]
This product is a white enteric-coated tablet that appears white or off-white after removal of the enteric coating.

[Indications]
Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (gastrinoma).

[Dosage and Administration]
For duodenal ulcers, adults should generally take 15-30 mg of lansoprazole orally once daily for 4-6 weeks. For gastric ulcers, reflux esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and anastomotic ulcers, adults should generally take 30 mg of lansoprazole orally once daily for 6-8 weeks. However, for maintenance therapy, elderly patients, patients with liver dysfunction, or patients with renal impairment, 15 mg of lansoprazole should be taken orally once daily.

[Adverse Reactions]
1. Allergic Reactions: Occasionally, symptoms such as rash and itching may occur. Discontinue use if these symptoms occur.
2. Liver: Occasionally, elevated levels of GOT, GPT, ALP, LDH, and γ-GTP may occur. Careful observation is required. If any abnormalities are detected, appropriate measures such as discontinuation of the drug should be taken.
3. Blood: Occasionally, symptoms such as anemia, leukopenia, and eosinophilia may occur. Thrombocytopenia rarely occurs.
4. Digestive System: Occasionally, symptoms such as constipation, diarrhea, thirst, and abdominal distension may occur.
5. Neuropsychiatric System: Occasionally, symptoms such as headache and drowsiness may occur. Insomnia and dizziness rarely occur.
6. Other: Occasionally, fever, elevated total cholesterol, and elevated uric acid may occur.

[Precautions]

[Drug interactions]
It will delay the metabolism and excretion of diazepam and phenytoin sodium. This data has been published in reports on similar drugs such as omeprazole.

This product is a novel drug that inhibits gastric acid secretion. It acts on the H+-K+-ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells, preventing H+ from being transported into the stomach, significantly reducing the amount of gastric acid in gastric juice.
