[Ingredients]
The main ingredient of this product is colloidal bismuth pectin, a complex of variable composition formed by pectin and bismuth.
[Properties]
This product is a capsule containing yellow powder or granules.
[Indications]
This product is indicated for the treatment of peptic ulcers, particularly Helicobacter pylori-associated ulcers. It is also used for chronic superficial and atrophic gastritis.
[Dosage and Administration]
Oral. Adults: 2 capsules (0.2g) 3 times daily, 1 hour before meals and at bedtime. A course of treatment is four weeks.
[Adverse Reactions]
1. Do not take with milk.
2. Do not take with strong antacids, as this may reduce efficacy.
3. Concomitant use with other medications may result in drug interactions. Please consult your physician or pharmacist for details.
[Contraindications]
Contraindicated for use in patients with severe renal insufficiency and pregnant women.
