[Precautions]
1. Use with caution (the following patients should use with caution):
(1) Patients with severe liver dysfunction [abnormal liver function test values may occur when taking this drug].
(2) Patients with glaucoma [may cause increased intraocular pressure].
2. Important basic precautions:
(1) In the initial stage of taking this preparation, similar to taking nitrates and nitrites, throbbing headaches may occur due to vasodilation. If this occurs, appropriate measures such as reducing the dose or stopping the drug should be taken.
(2) Because this preparation can enhance the antihypertensive effect when used with erectile dysfunction treatment agents with phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitory effects (sildenafil citrate, vardenafil hydrochloride hydrate, tadalafil), which may cause an excessive drop in blood pressure, before taking this preparation, you should fully confirm that you are not taking such drugs. In addition, you should also be careful not to take such drugs during and after taking this preparation.
3. Precautions for use: When taking the medicine:
(1) Instruct the patient to take the medicine after removing the tablet from the PTP package. (There have been reports of patients accidentally ingesting PTP packaging sheets, causing the hard, sharp corners to pierce the esophageal mucosa, leading to perforation and severe complications such as mediastinitis.)
(2) Patients should be instructed to store the medication in a cool, dry place.
