[Properties]
This product is a film-coated tablet. After removing the thin coating, the tablet is off-white to slightly yellow.
[Indications]
For the treatment of chronic hepatitis B and improvement of serological markers of liver fibrosis (hyaluronic acid (HA) and type III procollagen (PIIIP)) in viral hepatitis.
[Dosage and Administration]
Chronic hepatitis B: Oral administration, 0.2g-0.3g (2-3 tablets) three times daily for a course of three months, or as directed by a physician. Improvement of serological markers of liver fibrosis (hyaluronic acid (HA) and type III procollagen (PIIIP)) in viral hepatitis: Oral administration, 0.3g (3 tablets) three times daily for a course of six months, or as directed by a physician.
[Adverse Reactions]
This product is well tolerated by patients, with a low incidence of adverse reactions. Common adverse reactions include nausea, vomiting, bitter taste in the mouth, loss of appetite, diarrhea, upper abdominal discomfort or pain, and fatigue. Rash, chest tightness, and fever may occasionally occur. These symptoms generally resolve on their own.
[Contraindications]
This product is contraindicated in patients with allergies.
[Precautions]
1. Use this product only under the guidance of a physician.
2. This product is not recommended for patients with severe renal insufficiency.
3. Use with caution in patients with liver failure.
[Use in Special Populations]
Precautions for use in children: There is no experience with this product in children.
Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: This product should not be used in pregnant women. Use with caution in lactating women.
Precautions for the elderly: Reduce the dosage or follow a physician's advice.

[Pharmacological Action]
This product can reduce serum DHBV DNA levels in ducks infected with duck hepatitis B virus (DHBV); it also has a protective effect against CCl4- and D-galactosamine-induced liver damage in mice.
