Adults usually take 2-3 tablets at a time; children take 1 tablet at a time, three times daily after meals. The dosage may be increased or decreased based on age and symptoms.

[Adverse Reactions] The exact frequency of adverse reactions associated with the use of this preparation has not been investigated. Important adverse reactions: Pseudoaldosteronism (frequency unknown): Symptoms of pseudoaldosteronism, such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, sodium and fluid retention, edema, decreased urine volume, and weight gain, may occur. Therefore, during use, careful monitoring (serum potassium levels, etc.) is recommended. If abnormalities are detected, discontinue use if medication is indicated. Symptoms of rhabdomyolysis, such as weakness, muscle weakness, muscle pain, limb cramps, and paralysis, may also occur. If elevated CK (CPK) levels or blood or urine myoglobin are detected, discontinue use and administer appropriate treatment.

[Contraindications]
This product should not be used in the following patients: 1. Patients with aldosteronism, myopathy, or hypokalemia (it may worsen hypokalemia and hypertension). 2. Patients with advanced cirrhosis who are prone to elevated blood ammonia levels (methionine metabolites in this preparation can inhibit urea synthesis, thereby reducing ammonia processing capacity).

[Precautions]
1. Use with caution. Use with caution in elderly patients (elderly patients have a higher incidence of hypokalemia) (see Use in Elderly Patients). 2. General Precautions. Because this preparation contains glycyrrhizin, concomitant use with other licorice-containing preparations may increase glycyrrhizin levels in the body, potentially leading to pseudoaldosteronism. Caution is advised. Please read the package insert carefully and use as directed by your doctor.

[Use in Special Populations]
Precautions for Children:
No studies have demonstrated differences in pharmacology, toxicology, or pharmacokinetics compared to adults. For drug use, please refer to [Dosage and Administration] and [Precautions].

It enhances the stress-inhibiting effects of corticosteroids and antagonizes their anti-granulation and thymic atrophy effects. It has no effect on the exudative effects of corticosteroids. 2. Inhibitory Effect on Arachidonic Acid Metabolizing Enzymes: Glycyrrhizic acid glycosides can directly bind to phospholipase A2, the initiating enzyme in the arachidonic acid metabolic pathway, and act on arachidonic acid to produce inflammatory mediators.
