[Ingredients]
Each tablet of this product contains the main ingredients of metronidazole (Flagyl) 200 mg, clotrimazole 160 mg, and chlorhexidine acetate (Chlorhexidine) 8 mg. Excipients are: semi-synthetic fatty acid esters, paraffin, and lanolin.
[Properties]
This product is a cream-colored duckbill suppository.
[Indications]
For bacterial vaginitis, candidal vaginitis, trichomonas vaginitis, and mixed infectious vaginitis.
[Usage and Dosage]
For vaginal administration, wash your hands before going to bed, put on finger cots, and insert this product into the deep part of the vagina (posterior fornix), 1 tablet at a time, once a day, for 7 consecutive days as a course of treatment, and repeat a course after the first menstruation after stopping the drug.
[Adverse Reactions] Occasionally, allergic reactions occur, and some patients experience vaginal burning sensation.
[Contraindications] Patients who are allergic to this product or azole drugs, as well as patients with active central nervous system diseases and blood diseases are contraindicated.
[Precautions] 1. Patients who are allergic to this product are contraindicated. 2. Contraindicated in the first three months of pregnancy. 3. This product is only for vaginal administration, and oral administration is strictly prohibited. 4. Do not use this product when its properties change. 5. [Special Population Use]
Precautions for children: Children should use it with caution.
Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Animal experiments have found that metronidazole and clotrimazole are toxic to the fetus after intraperitoneal or oral administration. However, there is currently a lack of sufficient and rigorous controlled studies on pregnant and lactating women. Therefore, pregnant women are contraindicated, and lactating women should stop breastfeeding when using this product.
Precautions for the elderly: Due to decreased liver function, the pharmacokinetics of this product are changed when the elderly use it, so it should be used with caution.
