[Indications/Main Functions]
For peptic ulcers (gastric and duodenal ulcers), stress ulcers, etc.
[Specifications]
20mg x 30 tablets (dispersible)
[Dosage and Administration]
Oral. Take 20 mg (1 tablet) twice daily for a course of 4-6 weeks. After the ulcer has healed, the maintenance dose should be halved. Patients with renal insufficiency should reduce the dose.
[Adverse Reactions]
A small number of patients may experience dry mouth, dizziness, insomnia, abdominal distension, constipation, rash, and facial flushing. Occasionally, leukopenia and mild elevation of transaminases may occur.
[Contraindications]
This product is contraindicated in patients with allergies or severe renal insufficiency.
[Drug Interactions]
This product does not interact with hepatic cytochrome P450 enzymes and therefore does not affect the metabolism of other drugs.

[Pharmacology and Toxicology]
This product is an H2 receptor antagonist. It has an inhibitory effect on the secretion of gastric acid and pepsin. Patients with gastric and duodenal ulcers were given this product at a dose of 20 mg twice a day for 1 to 2 months, with no effect on blood gastrin levels. Normal people and patients with peptic ulcers were given this product at a dose of 20 mg twice a day for 4 weeks, with no effect on blood prolactin, gonadotropin, and sex hormone levels.
