[Properties]
This product is a film-coated tablet that appears orange-yellow to orange-red after removing the coating.
[Indications]
For cholecystitis, gallstones, and as an adjunctive treatment for chronic hepatitis with bile secretion disorders.
[Dosage and Administration]
Oral administration: 25 mg (one tablet) three times daily, or as directed by a physician.
[Adverse Reactions]
1. Allergic Reactions: Occasionally, urticarial erythema, rash, and pruritus may occur, which resolve upon discontinuation of the drug. 2. Digestive Tract: Mild to moderate gastrointestinal reactions such as abdominal distension, diarrhea, loose stools, abdominal pain, nausea, and bowel sounds may occur. These symptoms may resolve or disappear upon dose reduction or discontinuation. 3. Liver: Rarely elevated serum transaminases (ALT, AST) may occur. 4. Other: Rarely palpitations may occur.
[Contraindications]
1. Contraindicated in patients with complete biliary obstruction. 2. Contraindicated in patients with acute liver and biliary diseases (may increase hepatocyte and bile duct load, potentially worsening the condition). 3. Contraindicated in patients with severe liver dysfunction. 4. Contraindicated in patients with allergies to this product.
[Precautions]
1. Use this product with caution in patients with hyperthyroidism. In animal (rat) studies, histopathological examination revealed thyroid atrophy after continuous oral administration at doses 400-600 times the human dose. Observe thyroid function during use. 2. Metabolism of this product can cause dark yellow urine. However, clinically, caution should be exercised regarding darker urine color caused by jaundice due to the underlying disease.

This product is not for use in children.
Precautions for Pregnancy and Lactation:
The safety of this drug for pregnant women has not been confirmed. Pregnant women should avoid taking this drug. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant may be at increased risk. Lactating women should avoid taking this drug.
Precautions for Elderly Patients:
This drug is primarily metabolized by the liver. Elderly patients may maintain higher blood concentrations of the drug due to impaired liver function. Therefore, elderly patients should take a reduced dose (e.g., 37.5 mg/day) as appropriate.

This drug can increase hepatic glutathione (GSH) levels and significantly enhance the activities of glutamylcysteine synthetase (GCS), glutathione reductase (GSSG-R), and glutathione S-transferase (GSH-S-TX), thereby increasing hepatocyte viability, bile secretion, and a choleretic effect.
