[Dosage and Administration]
Adults: 75mg twice daily. Stir with warm water to form an emulsion, orally after breakfast and before bedtime. Dosage may be increased or decreased based on age and symptoms.
[Adverse Reactions]
According to international data, 121 adverse reactions, including changes in laboratory values, were reported among 4,126 patients taking Bangkefu JuPuRui Zinc Granules. The main symptoms were allergic reactions such as rash (0.12%), constipation (0.22%), and nausea (0.12%). Changes in laboratory values were as follows: ALT increased by 0.68%, ALP increased by 0.44%, LDH increased by 0.27%, eosinophilia increased by 0.27%, and triglycerides increased by 0.17%. (1) Important adverse reactions: Liver dysfunction, jaundice (incidence unknown): If abnormal liver dysfunction and jaundice such as increased AST, ALT, γ-guanosine triphosphate (γ-GTP), and ALP occur, stop the drug immediately and take appropriate measures. (2) Other adverse reactions: When the following adverse reactions occur, take appropriate measures according to the symptoms. Note: If allergic reactions occur, stop taking the drug.
[Contraindications]
This product is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to polyprezinc, carnosine, and zinc salts.
[Drug Interactions]
When this product is taken simultaneously with penicillamine and levothyroxine sodium, it can form a chelate with the polyprezinc granules, reducing their absorption level and weakening their efficacy. Therefore, simultaneous use should be avoided; if combined use is required, please take them at different times.
