Potassium bismuth citrate.
[Indications/Main Functions]
For chronic gastritis and relief of stomach pain, heartburn, and acid reflux caused by excessive gastric acid.

0.3g*20 Capsules
[Dosage and Administration]
Oral. Adults: 1 capsule at a time, 4 times daily. The first 3 doses should be taken half an hour before meals and the fourth dose should be taken 2 hours after dinner. Alternatively, take 2 capsules twice daily, morning and evening.
[Adverse Reactions]
During medication, an ammonia odor may be present in the mouth, and the tongue coating and stool may turn gray-black. This odor disappears upon discontinuation of medication. Nausea and constipation may occur occasionally.
[Contraindications]
This product is contraindicated in patients with severe kidney disease and pregnant women.

[Drug Interactions]
1. Milk and antacids can interfere with the effects of this product and should not be taken concurrently. 2. Taking Bismuth Potassium Citrate Capsules with tetracycline may affect the latter's absorption. 3. Concomitant use with other medications may result in drug interactions. [Pharmacology and Toxicology]
This product's main ingredient is bismuth tripotassium dicitrate. In the acidic environment of the stomach, it forms a diffuse protective layer covering the ulcer surface, preventing the invasion of gastric acid, enzymes, and food. It also reduces pepsin activity, increases mucin secretion, and promotes the release of prostaglandins from the mucosa, thereby protecting the gastric mucosa. Furthermore, it has a killing effect on Helicobacter pylori (HP), thereby promoting the healing of gastritis.
