[Ingredients]
This product is a compound preparation. Each bag contains 200mg of bismuth aluminate, 400mg of heavy magnesium carbonate, 250mg of sodium bicarbonate, 250mg of licorice extract powder, 15mg of Cascara sagrada bark (equivalent to the crude drug), 15mg of fennel powder (equivalent to the crude drug), 30mg of aloe vera (equivalent to the crude drug), and 12.5mg of Acorus calamus (equivalent to the crude drug).
[Properties]
This product is yellowish-brown or light yellow granules.
[Indications]
Indicated for the treatment of gastric discomfort symptoms related to gastric acid (such as stomach pain, acidity, bloating, burning sensation, acidic belching, and fullness), acute and chronic gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, reflux esophagitis, bile reflux gastropathy, and nervous dyspepsia; and for the prevention of gastric mucosal damage caused by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and chemotherapy drugs. It can also be used to treat stomach pain, bloating, and stomach cramps caused by other causes.
[Dosage and Administration]
Take one bag at a time with warm water after meals, or two bags for severe cases, three times daily. A course of treatment is one to three months, after which the dosage can be reduced to prevent recurrence.
[Adverse Reactions]
Adverse reactions are rare, with occasional cases of constipation, loose stools, dry mouth, insomnia, nausea, and diarrhea, which resolve spontaneously upon discontinuation of medication. Black stools are normal during medication; if loose stools occur, the dosage can be reduced.
[Contraindications]
1. Use with caution in pregnant and lactating women.
2. Contraindicated in patients with allergies to this product.
3. Contraindicated in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia or glaucoma.
4. Contraindicated in patients with appendicitis or similar symptoms.
5. Use with caution in patients with reflux esophagitis, gastrointestinal obstructive disease, hyperthyroidism, or ulcerative colitis.
[Precautions]
1. Do not use this product continuously for more than 7 days. Consult a physician or pharmacist if symptoms persist.
2. Avoid alcoholic beverages and fried, greasy foods during treatment.
3. Use with caution in patients with reflux esophagitis, gastrointestinal obstructive disease, hyperthyroidism, or ulcerative colitis.
4. Use with caution in pregnant and lactating women.
5. Consult a physician or pharmacist regarding dosage for children.
6. Contraindicated if this product changes in properties.
7. Children must be supervised during use.
8. Keep out of reach of children.

Pharmacological Actions: This product is a combination preparation with astringent, acid-neutralizing, analgesic, stomachic, bloating-relieving, and spasmodic properties. Bismuth aluminate forms a protective film on the surface of ulcers, promoting ulcer healing; sodium bicarbonate and heavy magnesium carbonate together neutralize gastric acid and have a significant antacid effect; fennel reduces gastrointestinal flatulence and relieves pain; aloe vera increases intestinal motility and has a laxative effect; calamus promotes digestive juice secretion and has stomachic benefits; and licorice extract powder relieves gastrointestinal smooth muscle spasms.
