[Dosage and Administration]
Oral administration: 1 capsule twice daily, in the morning and at bedtime.
[Adverse Reactions]
1. Common side effects include nausea, rash, constipation, fatigue, headache, and dizziness. 
2. Adverse effects on renal, gonadal, and central nervous systems are mild. 
3. A small number of patients have experienced mild liver damage after taking this medication, but symptoms resolved and liver function returned to normal after discontinuation of the medication.
[Contraindications]
1. Children under 8 years of age are contraindicated. 
2. Pregnant and lactating women are contraindicated.

[Drug Interactions]
1. Concomitant use with procainamide may reduce the clearance of procainamide. 
2. Concomitant use with other medications may result in drug interactions; consult a physician or pharmacist for details.
[Pediatric Use]
This product is contraindicated in children under 8 years of age.

Elderly patients have reduced liver and kidney function; to ensure safe use, the dosage should be adjusted.

Pregnant and lactating women are contraindicated.
[Pharmacology and Toxicology]
1. Pharmacology: Ranitidine competitively blocks the binding of histamine to H2 receptors. Its gastric acid inhibition is 5-12 times that of cimetidine on a molar basis, making it a potent H2 receptor blocker. 2. Toxicity: The oral LD50 in mice is 1440-1750 mg/kg. The maximum nontoxic dose (MNTD) for 5 consecutive weeks is 500 mg/kg in male rats, 250 mg/kg in female rats, and 40 mg/kg in dogs. The MNTD for 26 consecutive weeks is 100 mg/kg in rats and 40 mg/kg in dogs. Oral administration of 100-200 mg/kg for 114 weeks in mice and 100-2000 mg/kg for 129 weeks in rats has not been observed.
