[Properties]
Sustained-release granules in bags.

[Indications]
Acute exacerbations of ulcerative colitis; prevention of relapses. Prevention of acute exacerbations in patients with frequent Crohn's disease.

[Dosage and Administration]
Oral: Swallow the bag contents without chewing. The following dosage is taken orally 3-4 times daily, preferably with meals, gargling with a glass of water. Acute Phase: 4g per day (equivalent to 8 bags); Remission Phase: 1.5g per day (equivalent to 3 bags); Crohn's Disease: 2g per day (equivalent to 4 bags)

[Adverse Reactions]
Rare. Headache, nausea, and vomiting may occur at the beginning of treatment. Discontinue the drug if the following symptoms occur: 1. Acute pancreatitis and leukopenia, but these symptoms are extremely rare and the prognosis is good after discontinuation of the drug. 2. Pericarditis and myocarditis may occur in very rare patients.

[Contraindications]
Allergies to salicylic acid preparations.

[Precautions]
1. Contraindicated in patients with allergies to salicylates and the excipients of this product. 2. Use with caution in patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency; pregnant and lactating women; not suitable for children under two years of age. 3. Taking cyanocobalamin tablets (VitB12 tablets) together may affect their absorption. 4. Swallow the tablets whole; never chew or crush them.
