[Ingredients]
Each tablet of this product contains the main ingredients of metronidazole (Flagyl) 0.2g, clotrimazole 0.16g, chlorhexidine acetate (Chlorhexidine) 0.008g.
[Properties]
This product is a white or off-white tablet with slight hidden spots on the surface.
[Indications]
For bacterial vaginitis, fungal vaginitis, protozoal vaginitis and mixed bacterial, fungal and protozoal infection vaginitis.
[Usage and Dosage]
Place this product in the posterior fornix of the vagina, 1 tablet at a time, once a day. 7 consecutive days of use is a course of treatment, and a course of treatment is repeated after the first menstruation after stopping the drug.
【Adverse Reactions】
1. Local reactions: allergic reactions, rash, itchy skin, contact dermatitis, blisters, burning sensation, congestion, thrombophlebitis, etc. 2. Systemic reactions: can cause epileptic seizures and peripheral neuropathy, the latter mainly manifested as numbness and paresthesia of the extremities. In some cases, long-term medication can cause persistent peripheral neuropathy. Other adverse reactions include reversible neutropenia, central nervous system symptoms such as headache, dizziness, syncope, ataxia and mental confusion.
【Contraindications】
People with a history of allergy to clotrimazole, metronidazole or azole drugs.
【Precautions】
1. Patients with active central nervous system diseases are prohibited. 2. Animal tests or in vitro determinations of metronidazole have found carcinogenic and mutagenic effects, but this has not been confirmed in humans. Metronidazole is a nitroimidazole drug and should be used with caution in patients with blood dyscrasias.
