[Dosage and Administration]
1. Generally, adults take 1-2mg of pitavastatin calcium orally once daily after meals. 2. The dosage may be adjusted based on age and condition. If the decrease in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels is not significant, the dosage may be increased. The maximum daily dose is 4mg.
[Adverse Reactions]
Major adverse reactions include abdominal pain, rash, depression, itching, and elevated levels of R-glutamyl transpeptidase, creatine kinase (CK1), alanine transaminase, and aspartate aminotransferase. Serious adverse reactions include rhabdomyolysis and myopathy.
