[Ingredients] Alum, frankincense, borneol, furazolidone, metronidazole.
[Properties] This product is a suppository.
[Indications] Used for cervicitis, cervical erosion, trichomonas vaginitis, bacterial vaginitis, and candidal vaginitis. It can also be used for pelvic inflammatory disease and adnexitis.
[Usage and Dosage] Vaginal medication. 1 tablet at a time, once every other day. Use disposable gloves to insert the suppository into the posterior fornix of the vagina and take the medicine before going to bed. Take the medicine after menstruation, 5 times as a course of treatment.
[Adverse reactions] Furazolidone and metronidazole in this product often cause gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea and vomiting, allergic reactions (mostly urticaria), drug fever, and asthma. There may also be pulmonary infiltration, headache, orthostatic hypotension, hypoglycemia, etc.
[Contraindications] 1. It is contraindicated for patients with active central nervous system diseases and blood diseases. 2. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product. 3. It is contraindicated during menstruation or vaginal bleeding.

[Drug interactions]
Furazolidone and metronidazole in this product can interact with the following drugs. 1. It can inhibit the metabolism of warfarin and other oral anticoagulants, enhance their effects, and cause prolongation of prothrombin time. 2. The simultaneous use of drugs that induce liver microsomal enzymes such as phenytoin sodium and phenobarbital can enhance the metabolism of this product, reduce blood drug concentration, and slow down the excretion of phenytoin sodium. 3. Simultaneous use of drugs such as cimetidine that inhibit the activity of liver microsomal enzymes can slow down the metabolism and excretion of this product in the liver and prolong the serum half-life of this product. The dosage should be adjusted according to the results of blood drug concentration determination. 4. This product interferes with the metabolism of disulfiram. Patients who use the two together may experience mental symptoms after drinking. Therefore, patients who have used disulfiram within 2 weeks should not use this product again. 5. It can interfere with the results of aminotransferase and LDH determination, and can reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
[Pharmacological effects]
Frankincense in this product has the effects of promoting blood circulation, relieving pain, removing decay, and promoting muscle growth; alum has the effects of detoxification and killing insects, drying dampness and stopping sores, stopping bleeding and removing decay; borneol has the effects of clearing heat and relieving inflammation, dispersing knots and relieving pain, and removing swelling and removing nebula. Furazolidone has a therapeutic effect on vaginal infections caused by Trichomonas; metronidazole has the effect of killing Trichomonas. It has a killing effect on anaerobic microorganisms. The metabolites generated when it is reduced in the human body also have anti-anaerobic effects, inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial deoxyribonucleic acid, thereby interfering with the growth and reproduction of bacteria and ultimately leading to bacterial death. The results of the long-term toxicity test on rats showed that after general behavioral signs were observed, no abnormal behavioral signs were observed in each dose group, each time, and each test case. The weight of the animals increased rapidly and developed well. There were no significant differences in the various indicators tested in the blood routine, liver function, and kidney function tests between the groups, all of which were within the physiological value range. Systematic autopsy and organ coefficient calculation showed that no visible pathological changes were found in each group, and no significant differences were found in the organ coefficients between the groups, all of which were within the physiological value range. The histomorphological examination of the main organs showed that no abnormal tissue morphology was found in each test group. No abnormal changes were observed in the 3-week recovery observation. This shows that this product does not cause delayed toxic and side effects in rats with long-term poisoning. This product was administered to rats via vaginal administration. 24 hours, 48 hours and 7 days after administration, local vaginal anatomical observation and pathological examination showed no edema, exudation, congestion, inflammatory cell infiltration, congestion, ulceration, and no abnormal reaction was observed in the whole body, indicating that this product does not cause irritation and pathological damage to the vagina, and has no adverse effects on the whole body.
