[Ingredients]
This product is a compound preparation. Each 1000 tablets contains: 218.5g of Apocynum venetum leaves, 171.0g of Chrysanthemum indicum, 184.2g of Stephania tetrandra, 15.0g of magnesium trisilicate, 1.6g of hydralazine sulfate, 1.6g of hydrochlorothiazide, 1.05g of promethazine hydrochloride, 0.5g of vitamin B1, 0.5g of vitamin B6, and 0.25g of calcium pantothenate.
[Properties]
This product is a sugar-coated tablet. After removing the sugar coating, it is gray-brown in color, has a slight aroma, and a bitter, astringent taste.
[Indications]
For antihypertensive use.
[Dosage and Administration]
Oral administration. Take 2 tablets at a time, 3 times daily. Maintenance dose: 2 tablets per day.

[Pharmacological Actions]
Administered orally at a dose of 0.2g/kg to dogs with experimental renal hypertension, this product significantly lowered blood pressure from 190/142 mmHg to 153/98 mmHg two hours after oral administration. Oral administration of 0.2g/kg and 0.4g/kg of this drug to dogs and cats slowed the heart rate 20 minutes later, lasting for 5 hours. Oral administration of 0.3g/kg and 0.6g/kg of this drug to rats significantly antagonized arrhythmias induced by aconitine, calcium chloride, and coronary artery ligation. Its antiarrhythmic mechanism may be related to its effect on calcium influx. Oral administration of 0.6g/kg and 1.2g/kg of this drug to mice reduced spontaneous activity and exhibited a synergistic effect with sodium pentobarbital, increasing the loss of righting reflex.
