[Main Ingredients]
This product is a compound preparation. Each tablet contains 420 mg of calcium carbonate and 20 mg of simethicone.

Calcium Carbonate and Simethicone Chewable Tablets are white or off-white tablets.
[Indications/Main Functions]
Indicated for the relief of symptoms such as heartburn, belching, acid reflux, upper abdominal pain, and bloating caused by chronic gastritis.
[Specifications]

[Dosage and Administration]
Oral administration: 2 tablets at a time, 4 times daily. Chew and take once one hour after a meal and half an hour before bedtime. The course of treatment should not exceed seven days.
[Adverse Reactions]
1. A few people may experience mild rash, belching, vomiting, or constipation. These symptoms resolve spontaneously after discontinuation of the drug. 2. Milk-alkali syndrome may occasionally occur, manifesting as hypercalcemia, alkalosis, and renal insufficiency. (Caused by the combination of milk and calcium carbonate, or calcium carbonate alone). 3. Excessive, long-term use may cause rebound increased gastric acid secretion and hypercalcemia.
[Contraindications]
Sanqiang Shidai Calcium Carbonate Dimethicone Chewable Tablets are contraindicated in patients with hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, digitalis, calcium-containing kidney stones, or a history of kidney stones.
[Precautions]
1. Use with caution in patients with impaired heart and kidney function. 2. Children, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and the elderly should use under the guidance of a physician. 3. This product is contraindicated in patients with allergies. Those with allergic constitutions should use Sanqiang Shidai Calcium Carbonate Dimethicone Chewable Tablets with caution. 4. This product should not be used if its properties change. 5. Keep this product out of reach of children. 6. Children must be supervised by an adult before use. 7. If you are taking other medications, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
[Drug Interactions]
1. This product should not be used with digitalis. 2. Long-term use of this product may cause constipation, which can be overcome by combining or alternating with other antacids if necessary. 3. Excessive consumption of alcoholic and caffeinated beverages and heavy smoking can inhibit calcium absorption. 4. Eating large amounts of fiber-rich foods can inhibit calcium absorption because calcium combines with fiber to form poorly absorbed compounds. 5. Concomitant use of this product with phenytoin and tetracyclines can reduce their absorption. 6. Vitamin D, birth control pills, and estrogen can increase calcium absorption. 7. Concomitant use of aluminum-containing antacids with this product can increase aluminum absorption. 8. Concomitant use of this product with thiazide diuretics can easily lead to hypercalcemia (due to increased renal tubular calcium reabsorption). 9. When using Sanqiang Times Calcium Carbonate and Simethicone Chewable Tablets with potassium-containing medications, caution should be exercised regarding the possibility of arrhythmias. 10. [Pharmacology and Toxicology]
The calcium carbonate in this product is an antacid. After oral administration, it neutralizes gastric acid, raising the pH in the stomach, thereby alleviating symptoms such as burning sensation and acid reflux, and relieving pain. Simethicone is a defoaming agent that changes the surface tension of bubbles, causing them to rupture and eliminate them in the gastrointestinal tract.
