[Properties]
This product is a hard capsule containing off-white pellets.
[Indications]
This lipid-regulating drug is indicated for hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia that cannot be controlled with appropriate and regular dietary therapy.
[Dosage and Administration]
Adults: Oral, 0.25g (one tablet) once daily.
[Adverse Reactions] A small number of patients experience gastrointestinal discomfort, belching, or transient increases in serum transaminases and blood urea nitrogen after taking the drug; occasionally dry mouth, decreased appetite, increased bowel movements, abdominal distension, rash, headache, dizziness, and fatigue; rarely myositis, myalgia, and significant increases in blood creatine phosphokinase.
[Contraindications]
① Patients with severe renal dysfunction; ② Patients with primary biliary cirrhosis, long-term liver dysfunction, and pre-existing gallbladder disease; ③ Patients who are allergic to this product.
[Precautions]
(1) Patients with renal dysfunction should reduce the dose of this product based on renal creatinine clearance. (2) Interference with diagnosis: Platelet count, blood urea nitrogen, transaminases, blood calcium, etc. may increase when taking this product; blood alkaline phosphatase, gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase, and bilirubin may decrease. (3) Regular checks during medication: ① Complete blood count and platelet count; ② Liver function test; ③ Blood cholesterol, triglycerides or low-density and very low-density lipoprotein.

Children's precautions: Not yet clear.
Precautions during pregnancy and lactation: Contraindicated.
Precautions for the elderly: The elderly should appropriately reduce the dosage of this product.
[Drug Interactions]
It has an enhanced anticoagulant effect. The dosage of oral anticoagulants used at the same time should be halved, and the dosage will be adjusted according to the test results.
