Oral. Adults: 1-3 tablets at a time, 3 times a day. Pediatric dosage: see the table below:
Age (years): 1-3; Weight (kg): 10-15; Single dose (tablet): 0.5-1; Frequency per day: 3 times a day.
Age (years): 4-6; Weight (kg): 16-21; Single dose (tablet): 1-1.5; Frequency per day: 3 times a day.
Age (years): 7-9; Weight (kg): 22-27; Single dose (tablet): 1.5-2; Frequency per day: 3 times a day.
Age (years): 10-12; Weight (kg): 28-32; Single dose (tablet): 2-2.5; Frequency per day: 3 times a day.
[Adverse Reactions]
Oral adverse reactions are rare, occasionally including nausea, vomiting, rash, and fever, which disappear after discontinuation of the drug.
[Contraindications]
Contraindicated in patients with hemolytic anemia and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency.
