Mild liver impairment, manifested as mild elevation of transaminases, may occasionally occur, but this is unrelated to dosage. 4. Rash may occasionally occur.

Precautions for Pediatric Use:
This product is contraindicated in neonates. This dosage form is not suitable for children.

Precautions for Elderly Patients:
Elderly patients may experience decreased physiological function and should be treated with caution. If used, appropriate dosages should be selected as appropriate.
[Drug Interactions]
1. When used in combination with warfarin, this product may prolong the prothrombin time and induce platelet aggregation inhibition. 2. In patients receiving anticoagulant therapy, when piracetam is used concomitantly, special attention should be paid to clotting time to prevent bleeding risks and to adjust the dosage and administration of the anticoagulant medication.
[Pharmacological Actions]
Piracetam is a cyclic derivative of r-aminobutyric acid. Animal studies have shown that piracetam can prevent or protect animals from retrograde amnesia caused by hypoxia. Furthermore, piracetam significantly antagonizes the inhibitory effects of barbiturates on the central nervous system, suggesting that it may increase intracellular ATP and cell membrane excitability.
