This product is a white tablet with a cut line.

[Indications]
This product is a bronchodilator. It is indicated for bronchial asthma, asthmatic bronchitis, acute bronchitis with increased bronchial reactivity, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

[Dosage and Administration]
Oral.

Adults: 50 μg once daily, taken before bedtime, or 50 μg twice daily, taken in the morning and before bedtime.

Children over 6 years of age: 25 μg once daily, using the same dosage as for adults. Children may increase or decrease the dosage based on age and weight.

[Adverse Reactions]
General Adverse Reactions: 1. Occasionally, dry mouth, nasal congestion, fatigue, nausea, stomach discomfort, muscle tremors, headache, dizziness, or tinnitus may occur. Rash, arrhythmias, palpitations, and facial flushing may also occur. 2. Occasionally, liver dysfunction, such as elevated AST (GOT), ALT (GPT), and LDH, may occur. Serious Adverse Reactions: 1. Shock and anaphylactic-like symptoms: Shock and anaphylactic symptoms are rare, so careful observation is advised. If abnormalities are detected, the dose should be reduced or discontinued, and appropriate measures should be taken. 2. Severe hypokalemia has been reported. The effect of serum potassium lowering may be enhanced by concomitant use of xanthine derivatives, steroids, and diuretics. Therefore, patients with severe asthma should exercise particular caution. In addition, hypoxemia may enhance the effect of low serum potassium on heart rhythm, so serum potassium levels should be monitored in such cases.

[Contraindications]
This product is contraindicated in patients with allergies to adrenergic receptor agonists.

[Precautions]
1. It may cause arrhythmias. Exercise caution during use. 2. Use with caution in the following patients: hyperthyroidism, hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes. 3. Other: This product may suppress skin reactions caused by allergies. Therefore, if skin testing is required, discontinue use 12 hours in advance.

[Special Population Use]
Precautions for Children:
Safety for premature infants, newborns, infants, and young children has not been established. Use with caution.

Precautions for Pregnancy and Lactation:
Safety for use during pregnancy has not been established. Therefore, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should weigh the risks and benefits before using this product.

Use with caution or as directed by a physician.

[Drug Interactions]
1. Concomitant use of this drug with catecholamines such as epinephrine and isoproterenol can cause arrhythmias and increased heart rate. Therefore, concomitant use with these drugs should be avoided. 2. Concomitant use with theophylline can enhance bronchial smooth muscle relaxation, but may also increase adverse reactions. 3. Avoid concomitant use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants.

[Pharmacological Action]
This product is a beta-2 receptor agonist with high selectivity for the beta-2 adrenergic receptors on bronchial smooth muscle, thereby relaxing bronchial smooth muscle. It also has certain anti-allergic effects and promotes respiratory ciliary motility.
