This product is a capsule containing white or off-white granules or powder.
[Indications]
It is indicated for the treatment of thick sputum and difficulty expectorating caused by acute and chronic respiratory diseases (such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, and tuberculosis).
[Dosage and Administration]
Oral administration after meals. Adults and children over 12 years old: 1 capsule three times a day. Long-term use can be reduced to twice a day.
[Adverse Reactions]
Occasionally, rash may occur. A few patients may experience gastrointestinal discomfort, and occasionally stomach pain or diarrhea.
[Contraindications]
This product is contraindicated in patients with allergies.
[Precautions]
1. Avoid concomitant use of this product with strong antitussives. 2. This product should not be taken with atropine-like medications.

Precautions for Children: Children under 12 years of age should follow a doctor's advice.

This product may increase the lung concentration of drugs such as amoxicillin and amoxicillin/clavulanic acid. Therefore, when used in combination with any of these drugs to treat lung infections, it may enhance their antibacterial efficacy.
[Pharmacological Actions]
This product is a mucolytic agent that increases secretion of serous glands in the respiratory mucosa and reduces mucus gland secretion, thereby reducing sputum viscosity. It also promotes the secretion of pulmonary surfactant, increases bronchial ciliary motility, and facilitates expectoration of sputum.
