[Properties]
This product is a film-coated tablet. After removing the film coating, it appears white or off-white. Odorless, bitter taste.
[Indications]
1. Gastric ulcer.
2. Improvement of gastric mucosal lesions (erosion, bleeding, redness, and edema) during acute gastritis and acute exacerbations of chronic gastritis.
[Dosage and Administration]
Adults: 100 mg (one tablet) orally after meals, three times daily. Or as directed by a physician.
[Adverse Reactions]
1. Digestive System: Constipation may occur, and occasionally abdominal distension, burning sensation in the chest, and nausea.
2. Liver: Liver function abnormalities such as elevated GOT and GPT may occur, and occasionally elevated ALP and γ-GPT may occur.
3. Allergies: Occasionally, itching and rash may occur. 4. Other: Occasionally, symptoms such as heaviness of the head, general fatigue, and palpitations may occur.

[Pharmacological Action]
Droxipid is a novel, defense-enhancing agent for the treatment of gastritis and gastric ulcers. It has inhibitory effects on various experimental ulcers, has therapeutic and preventive effects on experimental gastritis, and has a preventive effect on acute gastric mucosal lesions. It can enhance gastric mucosal blood flow and promote tissue repair. Studies on its mechanism of action have shown that, unlike H2-receptor antagonists, it does not affect gastric acid secretion but rather enhances gastric mucosal defense factors, promoting the repair of gastric ulcers.
