[Pharmacological Actions]
Animal studies have shown that this product can increase microsomal enzyme activity in hepatocytes, accelerating the liver's detoxification capacity. It can also reduce the increase in serum glutamic-alanine aminotransferase in rats induced by carbon tetrachloride. It can also stabilize cell membranes in various types of liver damage caused by hepatotoxicants such as carbon tetrachloride, phalloidin, thioacetamide, and crotalin, thereby achieving significant liver protection.
