[Ingredients]

[Indications]
It is indicated for the relief of heartburn, acid reflux, stomach pain, and stomach discomfort caused by excessive gastric acid in adults and children over 12 years of age.
[Dosage and Administration]
For oral use, chew one tablet at the onset of symptoms. Do not exceed two tablets within 24 hours.
[Adverse Reactions]
A small number of patients may experience headache, dizziness, insomnia, constipation, and diarrhea; rash and urticaria may occur occasionally; and loss of appetite, leukopenia, mild transient elevation of transaminases, tachycardia, elevated blood pressure, facial flushing, and menstrual irregularities may occur rarely.
[Contraindications]
This product is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergic reactions, severe hepatic or renal impairment, or difficulty swallowing.
[Precautions]
1. If symptoms such as stomach pain persist or do not resolve after 7 consecutive days of use, consult a physician or seek further evaluation. 2. Do not use this product with other antacids or other antacids. Do not exceed 2 tablets within 24 hours. 4. Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment. 5. Do not use if the product's properties change. 6. Keep this product out of reach of children.

[Drug Interactions]
1. The famotidine in this product does not inhibit hepatic drug-metabolizing enzymes and therefore does not affect the metabolism of theophylline, phenytoin, warfarin, and diazepam, nor does it affect the distribution of procainamide in the body. 2. Co-administration of this product with tetracyclines or fluoroquinolones may reduce their absorption, possibly due to the presence of antacids that facilitate chelation. 3. Co-administration of this product with vitamin D analogs may lead to hypercalcemia. 4. Consult a physician before using this product if you are taking other prescription medications.
[Pharmacological Action]
Combined famotidine chewable tablets offer the dual benefits of calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide, which directly neutralize gastric acid, and famotidine, which inhibits gastric acid secretion, to relieve symptoms such as acid reflux, stomach pain, and heartburn. Calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide act as antacids. After oral administration, they neutralize excess gastric acid in the stomach, acting rapidly. They also reduce the activity of pepsin in breaking down gastric wall proteins, alleviating gastric acid erosion and irritation on the gastric and duodenal mucosa, thereby relieving pain and promoting ulcer healing. Famotidine is a third-generation H2 receptor antagonist that inhibits gastric acid secretion by blocking H2 receptors. It also significantly inhibits gastric acid secretion induced by pentagastrin, cholinergic receptor agonists, and vagal stimulation. A single dose of famotidine can maintain symptom control for 12 hours.
