[Indications]
Used to treat cervical erosion, cervicitis, various vaginal infections (such as increased leucorrhea caused by bacteria, trichomonas and fungi), vulvar itching, and pressure ulcers caused by the use of pessaries.
[Usage and Dosage]
Insert one suppository into the vagina every two days. If polycresulen sulfonaldehyde concentrate is used to cauterize the lesion, insert one suppository every two days. For ease of use, it is best for the patient to lie on his back, soak the suppository with water first, and then insert it deep into the vagina. It is usually appropriate to take the medicine before going to bed at night, and use a sanitary belt to prevent contamination of clothing and bedding.
[Adverse Reactions]
Occasionally, there are local irritation symptoms (such as burning or pain) after medication, which are usually tolerable and will disappear quickly.
[Contraindications]
During pregnancy, especially in the last three months of pregnancy, any treatment of the cervix should not be used, and treatment of the vagina and its surrounding areas should only be used when absolutely necessary.

1 This product is for external use and should not be taken orally. 2 This product should avoid contact with the eyes. 3 This product will accelerate and enhance the repair process. Precautions during pregnancy and lactation: During pregnancy, especially in the late pregnancy, any intracervical treatment should be avoided. Polyphenol sulfonaldehyde is no exception. Although animal tests have shown that this drug has no teratogenic effect, the results of human trials have not yet been obtained, and it is not clear whether the active ingredients of this drug will be contained in the breast milk of lactating women.

[Drug interactions]
Polyphenol sulfonaldehyde can only be applied topically. Since it cannot be ruled out that it interacts with other drugs, avoid using more than two drugs at the same time in the same part.
[Pharmacological actions]
1. The mechanism of action of polyphenol sulfonaldehyde is to kill bacteria, fungi and trichomonas through strong acid and protein coagulation. Selectively cause necrosis or diseased tissue and denaturation of columnar epithelial proteins. Cause vasoconstriction and plasma protein coagulation to stop bleeding. 2. Polyphenol sulfonaldehyde has a broad spectrum of antibacterial effects, including common Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, fungi and certain viruses, among which Gardnerella Vaginatis, anaerobic bacteria Trichomonas and Candida are particularly sensitive to it. However, Doderlein Vaginalflore (vaginal lactobacillus flora) is basically unaffected. At present, there is no report of drug resistance caused by this drug. 3. Polyphenol sulfonaldehyde has a selective coagulation effect on necrotic or diseased tissues, which can promote tissue regeneration and epithelial re-covering.
