[Indications]
Expectorant, suitable for various respiratory diseases accompanied by thick sputum and difficulty expectorating.
[Dosage and Administration]
Oral:
1. Adults: 30 mg three times a day. Long-term use can be reduced to twice a day.
2. Children: Children over 12 years of age should take the same dose as adults. Children under 12 years of age are recommended to take 1.2-1.6 mg per kilogram of body weight per day.
[Adverse Reactions]
Occasionally, rash, nausea, stomach discomfort, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, and diarrhea may occur.
[Contraindications]
This product is contraindicated in patients with allergies.
[Precautions]
1. Use with caution during pregnancy and lactation.
2. Consult a physician or pharmacist regarding dosage for children.
3. Avoid use with centrally acting antitussives.
4. This product is a mucus regulator and is only effective for expectoration. During use, be vigilant against coughing. If coughing persists for several days, seek medical attention immediately.

[Drug Interactions]
1. Concomitant use of this product with antibiotics (amoxicillin, cefuroxime, erythromycin, doxycycline) may increase antibiotic concentrations in lung tissue.

[Pharmacological Actions]
This product is a mucolytic agent that increases secretion of serous glands in the respiratory mucosa and decreases mucous gland secretion, thereby reducing sputum viscosity. It also promotes the secretion of pulmonary surfactant and increases bronchial ciliary motility, making sputum easier to expectorate.
