[Main Ingredients]
The main ingredient of this product is ambroxol hydrochloride, whose chemical name is trans-4-[(2-amino-3,5-dibromobenzyl)amino]cyclohexanol hydrochloride. Molecular formula: C₁₃H₁₃Br₂N₂O·HCl. Molecular weight: 414.57

[Properties]
This product consists of white or off-white granules or powder.

[Indications/Main Functions]
It is indicated for the treatment of thick sputum and difficulty expectorating caused by acute and chronic respiratory diseases (such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, and pulmonary tuberculosis).

[Dosage and Administration]
Oral administration after meals. Adults and children over 12 years of age: 30mg (1 tablet) three times daily; long-term use may be reduced to twice daily.

[Adverse Reactions]
Occasionally, rash, nausea, stomach discomfort, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, and diarrhea may occur. Other allergic reactions may include anaphylactic shock, angioedema, urticaria, and pruritus. Other gastrointestinal reactions, such as gastrointestinal disturbances, include vomiting and indigestion. Other neurologic reactions may include headache and dizziness. Rare and severe skin reactions may occur, including erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS)/toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN), and acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If a serious adverse reaction occurs, discontinue treatment immediately.

[Contraindications]
This product should not be used by patients with known hypersensitivity to ambroxol hydrochloride or any of its ingredients. This product is contraindicated in women during the first trimester of pregnancy.
