[Main Ingredients]
Each tablet contains 0.5g of mesalazine (5-aminosalicylic acid) microcapsules.

[Properties]
This product is a white tablet.

[Indications]
Ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease.

[Dosage and Administration]
Adults: Ulcerative colitis: (Acute attack) 1g four times daily, or as directed by a physician. (Maintenance treatment) 0.5g three times daily, or as directed by a physician. Crohn's disease: 1g four times daily, or as directed by a physician.

[Adverse Reactions]
May cause mild stomach discomfort. Occasionally, nausea, headache, and dizziness may occur.

[Contraindications]
Do not use if you are allergic to salicylates or any of the excipients in this product.

[Precautions]
1. Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment. Not suitable for children under two years of age. If a rash develops, discontinue use and consult a physician promptly.
2. It is best to swallow the tablet whole; it can be broken or taken with water; however, it should never be chewed or crushed. If a dose is missed due to inattention or forgetfulness, it should be taken as soon as possible or with the next dose.

[Use in Special Populations]
Precautions for Children:
This product should not be used in children under two years of age. Children over two years of age: 20-30 mg/kg, or as directed by a physician.

Precautions for Pregnancy and Lactation:
There are limited data on teratogenic effects. Use this product with caution in pregnant or breastfeeding patients.

Precautions for the Elderly:
The dosage of this product should be reduced in elderly patients.

[Drug Interactions]
Taking cyanocobalamin tablets concurrently with this product may affect absorption of the tablets.

[Pharmacological Action]
After enteric coating, this product disintegrates in the intestines. Most of the drug reaches the colon, where it acts on the inflamed mucosa, inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins and the formation of inflammatory mediators such as leukotrienes. This has a significant anti-inflammatory effect on intestinal inflammation, particularly on inflamed connective tissue.
