[Ingredients]

This product is white or off-white tablets.
[Indications]
Dyspnea caused by bronchial asthma, asthmatic chronic bronchitis, and other bronchospasm.
[Dosage and Administration]
Oral administration: Generally, adults take 0.2-0.4 g twice daily, 3 hours before or after meals. Patients with severe asthma should take the drug as directed by a doctor.
[Adverse Reactions]
A small number of patients experience symptoms such as palpitations, sinus tachycardia, upper abdominal discomfort, poor appetite, nausea, vomiting, excitement, and insomnia. Overdose may cause severe arrhythmias and paroxysmal crises.
[Contraindications]
Patients allergic to doxofylline or xanthine derivatives should not use this medication in patients with acute myocardial infarction.
[Precautions]
1. Theophylline medications vary widely among individuals. The optimal dose and method of administration should be determined based on individual patient conditions. Monitor blood levels if necessary.
2. Patients with hyperthyroidism, sinus tachycardia, or arrhythmias should follow their doctor's instructions.
3. Use with caution in patients with severe cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, or renal dysfunction, as well as active gastric or duodenal ulcers.
4. This product should not be taken concurrently with other xanthines. It is recommended not to consume caffeinated beverages or foods concurrently.

[Drug Interactions]
1. Barbiturates have no significant effect on the metabolism of this drug.
2. In animal studies, macrolides (such as erythromycin) have no significant effect on the metabolism of this drug. When used in combination with fluoroquinolones such as enoxacin and ciprofloxacin, the dosage should be reduced.
[Pharmacological Actions]
Doxofylline is a methylxanthine derivative and a bronchodilator. It relaxes smooth muscle by inhibiting phosphodiesterases in smooth muscle cells, thereby suppressing asthma.
