【Indications/Main Functions】
Symptomatic treatment of pain, abnormal bowel movements, and gastrointestinal discomfort related to intestinal dysfunction; symptomatic treatment of pain related to biliary dysfunction; preparation for barium enema.

【Dosage and Administration】
Adults: The usual recommended dose is 3-4 tablets/day. In rare cases, it may be increased to 6 tablets/day if necessary. When preparing for a barium enema, medication should begin three days before the examination at a dose of 4 tablets/day. Do not chew or crush the tablets; swallow with water during meals. Do not take while lying down or before bedtime.
【Adverse Reactions】
Mild gastrointestinal discomfort has been observed in very few individuals. Rarely, skin-like allergic reactions have occurred in a very small number of individuals.
【Contraindications】
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to this product or bromides. Contraindicated in pregnant women.
【Drug Interactions】
No teratogenic effects have been observed in animal studies. In clinical applications, there is currently insufficient data to evaluate the teratogenic or fetal toxic effects of pinaverium bromide; therefore, it is contraindicated during pregnancy. Additionally, ingestion of bromides in late pregnancy may affect the neonatal nervous system (hypotonia and sedation). Since there is no data regarding whether it passes into breast milk, it should be avoided during breastfeeding.
