[Usage and Dosage]
1. Adult medication: Oral administration. The maximum recommended dose for adults is 6g per day. (1) Constipation: The recommended dose is 1g each time, 4 times/d or adjusted as needed. Chew it and take it with water. (2) Diarrhea: The recommended dose is 1g each time, 4 times/d or adjusted as needed. Chew it and swallow it. For patients with severe diarrhea, the dose can be repeated once every half an hour until the maximum dose is reached. 2. Use in children: (1) Constipation: For children aged 3-6 years, the recommended dose is 0.5g twice a day, chewed and taken with water or other liquids; for children aged 6-12 years, the recommended dose is 0.5g three times a day, chewed and taken with water or other liquids. (2) Diarrhea: For children aged 3-6 years, the recommended dose is 0.5g twice a day, chewed and taken with water or other liquids. The daily dose should not exceed 1.5g; for children aged 6-12 years, the recommended dose is 0.5g three times a day, chewed and taken with water or other liquids. The daily dose should not exceed 3g.
[Adverse Reactions]
Since this product is not absorbed in the body, adverse reactions are rare. Vomiting and stomach cramps may occur occasionally. Abdominal distension and flatulence have been reported.
