[Indications]
Expectorant. Suitable for treating thick sputum and difficulty expectorating caused by acute and chronic respiratory diseases (such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, and tuberculosis).
[Dosage and Administration]
Oral. Take 1-2 tablets three times a day after meals. Consult a physician for dosage for children.
[Adverse Reactions]
Occasionally, rash, nausea, stomach discomfort, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, and diarrhea may occur.

This product is a metabolite of the expectorant bromhexine. It has a mucolytic effect, breaking down mucopolysaccharide fibers in sputum and thinning sputum. It also inhibits the synthesis of acidic glycoproteins in the bronchial mucosa, reducing sputum viscosity and facilitating expectoration.
