[Pharmacological Action]
This product activates the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex by inhibiting pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase. This product also increases oxygen uptake by hepatocytes, promotes lactate oxidation, reduces blood lactate levels, improves the body's acid-base balance, and replenishes energy, thereby improving hepatocyte energy metabolism. The metabolite of this product, glycine, is produced by glycine lyase to produce CO2, NH3 and N5N10-CH2-FH4, which provide energy for liver cell metabolism and methyl for choline synthesis; at the same time, diisopropylamine provides methyl under the action of ATP to promote choline synthesis. Choline reacts with liver fat to produce lecithin; lecithin, liver fat, cholesterol and lipoprotein combine to form lipoprotein; lipoprotein is easily soluble in plasma, thereby transporting fat from the liver to outside the liver and reducing fat accumulation in the liver. This product can reduce the concentration of glycerol and free fatty acids in the arteries, reduce the liver's absorption of glycerol, and at the same time stimulate the secretion of triglycerides into the blood in the form of VLDL, thereby effectively inhibiting the synthesis of triglycerides in the liver. This product can hinder the activity of the rate-limiting enzyme for cholesterol synthesis (HMGCoA reductase). It jointly affects the synthesis of cholesterol and fatty acids by inhibiting multiple steps of the action of HMGCoA reductase. This product can improve liver function. It promotes the sequential methylation of membrane phospholipids, enhancing the fluidity of hepatocyte membranes and increasing the activity of Na+-K+-ATPase, the primary driver of bile secretion and flow. It also promotes the repair of damaged hepatocytes, improving tissue cell respiration and oxygen utilization. It also enhances fatty acid metabolic activity and accelerates fatty acid oxidation, creating conditions for liver function recovery. This product is a typical targeted agent, with over 90% of its activity participating in biochemical reactions within hepatocytes. It can delay the release of dichloroacetic acid, lowering blood sugar and lactate levels. It also inhibits hepatic triglyceride and cholesterol synthesis.
