[Ingredients]
This product is composed of extracts from Eucalyptus (Myrtaceae), Citrus (Rutaceae), and Pinus (Pinaceae). The main ingredients are eucalyptol, limonene, and α-pinene.
[Properties]
This product is a yellow enteric-coated soft capsule containing a light yellow, transparent, oily liquid.
[Indications]
This product is a mucolytic expectorant. It is indicated for acute and chronic sinusitis. It is also indicated for respiratory diseases such as acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, bronchiectasis, lung abscesses, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, fungal pulmonary infections, tuberculosis, and silicosis. It can also be used after bronchography to promote the excretion of contrast media.
[Dosage and Administration]
Oral administration. Adults: For acute cases, take 0.3g (1 tablet) at a time, 3-4 times daily; for chronic cases, take 0.3g (1 tablet) at a time, twice daily. This product should be taken half an hour before meals with cold boiled water; do not use with hot water. Do not open or chew the product before taking.
[Adverse Reactions]
Adverse reactions are mild, with occasional gastrointestinal discomfort and allergic reactions, such as rash, facial edema, dyspnea, and circulatory disturbances.

[Pharmacological Actions]
Experimental results show that this product increases tracheal secretion in mice, improves tracheal mucociliary motility, promotes the secretory function of respiratory glands, and increases mucus mobility, facilitating sputum excretion. It also prolongs the incubation period of cough in guinea pigs. Literature indicates that this product has anti-inflammatory properties and can dilate the bronchi by reducing swelling of the bronchial mucosa.
