This product is a white film-coated tablet that appears white after removal of the coating.
[Indications/Main Functions]
Indicated for the expectorant treatment of chronic respiratory infections such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis (CB), and emphysema (PE) with excessive sputum secretion.

[Dosage and Administration]
Adults: Orally, take one tablet (600mg) once or twice daily, or as directed by a physician.
[Adverse Reactions]
Nausea, vomiting, upper abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, and cough may occasionally occur with oral administration of this product. These reactions generally resolve with dose reduction or discontinuation. Rare allergic reactions such as rash and bronchospasm may occur.
[Contraindications]
Contraindicated in patients allergic to acetylcysteine.
[Drug Interactions]
1. Avoid concomitant use with highly acidic medications, as these may significantly reduce the effectiveness of this product.
2. Do not take with activated charcoal, as 54.6% to 96.2% of this product is adsorbed by the activated charcoal.
3. This product can reduce the efficacy of penicillins, cephalosporins, tetracyclines, and other drugs. It should not be mixed or taken together. If necessary, alternate use with a 4-hour interval.
4. This product is contraindicated with iodized oil, chymotrypsin, and trypsin.
5. This product may increase the excretion of gold preparations.
6. This product may be used with bronchodilators and vasoconstrictors.
7. If you are taking other medications, consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
[Precautions]
1. Use with caution in patients with bronchial asthma. If used during treatment, the patient's condition should be closely monitored. If bronchospasm occurs, treatment should be discontinued immediately.
2. Use with caution in patients with a history of peptic ulcers.
3. This product may irreversibly bind to metals such as iron and copper, as well as rubber, oxygen, and oxides, resulting in its ineffectiveness. Contact should be avoided.
4. In patients with hepatic insufficiency, this product may experience increased blood concentrations and a prolonged elimination time (T1/2). The dosage should be appropriately reduced.

Use with caution in elderly patients with severe respiratory insufficiency.
