[Properties]
This product is a capsule containing white or off-white granules or powder.
[Indications]
Alcoholic liver disease.
[Dosage]
Oral administration: 0.5g (2 capsules) twice daily.
[Adverse Reactions]
Long-term use of this product or excessive use may occasionally cause peripheral neuropathy in a few patients, which usually resolves naturally after discontinuation of medication. If adverse reactions not listed in the instructions occur, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.
[Contraindications]
This product is contraindicated in patients with known allergies or bronchial asthma.
[Precautions]
This product can antagonize the effects of levodopa. Patients taking levodopa for Parkinson's disease should exercise particular caution.

Precautions for Children: Not recommended for children.
Precautions for Pregnancy and Lactation: Use with caution in pregnant and lactating women.
Precautions for Elderly: Not yet known.
[Drug Interactions]
Metadoxine may increase the decarboxylation of peripheral levodopa, thereby weakening its efficacy.
[Pharmacological Actions]
Metadoxine can improve liver function damage caused by long-term alcohol consumption. Animal studies have shown that metadoxine has an anti-hepatic lipid peroxidation effect and can reduce fat accumulation in the liver cells of animals with chronic alcoholism.
[Storage]
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light. Store tightly closed. Shelf life: tentatively 24 months.
