【Ingredients】

【Appearance】
This product is a capsule, the contents of which are white or off-white powder or granules.
【Indications】
Improves memory, language and behavioral abilities. Used for the treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease symptoms.
【Dosage and Administration】
Oral administration. The initial dose is 5 mg once daily, taken at bedtime; maintain the initial dose for at least one month. The dose may be increased to 10 mg once daily based on the treatment effect (this is the maximum recommended dose).
【Adverse Reactions】
The main adverse reactions of this product are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, insomnia, muscle cramps, and fatigue. Most adverse reactions are transient, mild, and transient. 【Contraindications】This product is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to donepezil hydrochloride or piperidine derivatives.
【Precautions】
1. Anesthesia may enhance the muscle relaxant effect of succinylcholine-type drugs.
2. Due to its pharmacological effects, this product can have a vagal-like effect on heart rate; patients with sick sinus syndrome or other supraventricular conduction disorders should use it with caution.
3. Due to its cholinergic effects, patients with a history of asthma or obstructive pulmonary disease should use this product with caution.
4. Cholinesterase inhibitors may increase gastric acid secretion; therefore, patients with a history of peptic ulcer disease or concurrently taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should be closely monitored for possible gastrointestinal bleeding. 【Special Populations】
Children's Precautions: Not recommended for children.
Pregnancy and Lactation Precautions: The safety of this product in pregnant women is not yet clear, nor is it known whether this product can be excreted in breast milk; therefore, pregnant and lactating women should use this product with caution.
Elderly Precautions: Use as recommended.
[Drug Interactions]
1. Inducers of CYP3A4 and CYP2D6 isoenzymes, such as phenytoin sodium, carbamazepine, dexamethasone, rifampin, and phenobarbital, can increase the clearance of this product.
2. Inhibitors of CYP3A4 and CYP2D6 isoenzymes, such as ketoconazole and quinidine, inhibit the metabolism of this product.
3. This product has not been found to interfere with the metabolism of theophylline, cimetidine, warfarin, or digoxin. 4. This product may affect drugs with anticholinergic activity.
[Pharmacological Actions]
1. Pharmacological Action: Donepezil hydrochloride is a reversible acetylcholinesterase inhibitor with strong selectivity for inhibiting acetylcholinesterase. Its inhibitory effect on acetylcholinesterase in the brain is 1000 times stronger than its inhibitory effect on butyrylcholinesterase, which exists outside the central nervous system. This product produces a therapeutic effect by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, thereby increasing the content of acetylcholine in the synaptic intersynapse, which is directly involved in neurotransmission.
