3. Concomitant use with methotrexate may increase the blood concentration of methotrexate, exacerbating liver toxicity. Since isotretinoin and retinoic acid have similar structures, concomitant use with these drugs should also be avoided.
【Pharmacological Action】
This product is a retinoic acid derivative with a structural formula similar to all-trans retinoic acid. Its mechanism of action is similar to that of 13-cis-retinoic acid and aromatic retinoic acid, but its side effects are milder than those of all-trans retinoic acid. Oral administration regulates and controls epithelial cell differentiation and growth, inhibits keratinization, reduces sebum secretion, suppresses the keratinization process of keratinocytes, restores abnormal keratinization to normal, inhibits the growth of Propionibacterium acnes, and has immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects.
